We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction, and we must choose to preserve the blessings of liberty for the next generation. As we reflect on the past, we must also look forward, standing with courage for the principles that shaped our nation and seeking God for renewal and restoration.
On July 4, 2026, America will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence—a quarter millennium of a constitutional republic established of the people, by the people, and for the people. Our founding documents affirm that our inalienable rights to life and liberty come from God, not government. These truths have guided our country and remain the foundation of a free and flourishing society.
America is the greatest nation on earth because our founding ideals point toward truth, justice, and human dignity. What will America look like 250 years from now? As we celebrate this historic milestone, we must renew our commitment to defending life, safeguarding liberty, and faithfully stewarding the freedoms entrusted to us by our forefathers.
