“There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer.” – A.T. Pierson

NFA provides current updates and strategic opportunities to pray for Nebraska’s Capitol.

There are two ways to become involved in Capitol Prayer:

      • A monthly prayer walk inside the State Capitol.
      • Urgent prayer texts sent straight to your phone.

Capitol Prayer Walk

TIME: 10:00 – 11:30 AM

WHEN: 3rd Saturday of each month

WHERE: South entrance of the Capitol

*The meeting time and location is subject to change. Please contact our office at (402) 477-3191 for details about upcoming prayer walks.

The Capitol Prayer Walk began in 2002 when Christian senators began requesting prayer support because it had been over a decade since any pro-life legislation had advanced. Each year since the launch of the Nebraska Capitol Prayer Walk, pro-life/pro-family legislation, including the landmark Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act of 2010 has become law.

Brief updates will be provided before praying at strategic locations inside the Capitol. The Prayer Walk is facilitated by an NFA team member. We conclude our prayer time together overlooking the Legislative Chambers.

Capitol Link

We understand that not everyone can make it down to the State Capitol to pray in the Unicameral balcony during legislative debates or committee hearings – but we all can take time to pray right where we are.

Capitol Link is NFA’s text network. We’ll text you our most urgent prayer requests: when critical votes are being taken at the State Capitol; when our team members are testifying before committee hearings; when we need people to take action and contact their elected representatives. You can be praying with us when we need it most.
