VOTER GUIDE RESPONSES
1. EXPAND ABORTION: Create a right to abortion and eliminate current pro-life laws
No
Comments: I believe in protecting the sanctity of life and upholding current pro-life laws that reflect the values of our community. Every life is valuable, and I support policies that provide compassionate alternatives to abortion.

2. TAXPAYER-FUNDED ABORTION: Give taxpayer dollars to organizations that perform or refer for abortion services
No
Comments: Taxpayers should not be compelled to fund abortions, especially when many hold deep moral or religious objections. Public resources should be directed toward life-affirming services that support both mothers and children.

3. PROTECT GIRLS’ SPORTS & SPACES: Participation in girls’ sports and access to women’s restrooms and locker rooms should be based on biological sex, not gender identity
Yes
Comments: Fairness and safety in women’s sports and private spaces must be upheld. Biological differences create an uneven playing field, and maintaining these distinctions ensures equal opportunities for female athletes.

4. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM: Protect churches, charities, businesses, and individuals from government discrimination due to religious or moral convictions
Yes
Comments: The government should not punish individuals, churches, or organizations for living out their religious beliefs. Protecting religious freedom is essential to preserving the First Amendment rights of all citizens.

5. COMPREHENSIVE SEX ED: Teach young children about sex, sexual orientations, and gender identity spectrums in elementary schools
No
Comments: Parents should have the primary role in teaching their children about sensitive topics such as sex, gender, and identity. Schools should focus on scholastic education that respects family values and parental rights.
