ADVOCACY š¢
-
- 0 NFA-Opposed Bills Became Law: This is the eighth consecutive year weāve successfully blocked a multitude of bad policies and harmful legislation from becoming law.
- 3 NFA-Supported Bills Passed into Law: These werenāt insignificant victories, either. We passed landmark legislation protecting childrenāborn and unborn.
- 11,000+ Advocacy Actions: When we issued legislative alerts and calls to action, our statewide network took immediate action, contacting their elected leaders.
- 5 Amicus Briefs Filed in Court: Sometimes policy battles are won and lost in the courtroom. NFA signed on to five amicus briefs filed in district and federal court to protect children and families.
PRAYER š
-
- 234 Prayer Meetings at Prayer Place: Prayer is the foundation of everything we do. Literally. Our Prayer Place ministry is located on the first floor of our building, providing a free space for groups to pray, study the Bible, and worship.
- 859 “Adopt A Leader” Prayer Participants: Wherever they fall on the political spectrum, our leaders need our prayers. Consider “adopting” your representatives in prayer, and we’ll send you a free prayer packet!
- 100s Attended the Nebraska Observance of National Day of Prayer: Nebraskans from across the state filled the Capitol Rotunda to pray for our state and nation at our annual NDP prayer service.
MINISTRY GROWTH š
-
- 1 New Staff Position Added: Elizabeth Nunnally of Lincoln joined our communications team as NFAās new Multimedia Specialist! Her background in journalism will be key to expanding our social media reach in the coming year.
- $150,000 Match Challenge: In the largest match weāve ever received, several ministry friends offered to donate $150,000 if we raise $300,000 by the end of the year. Help us meet our match with a tax-deductible contribution before December 31st.

GENERATIONAL WINS š
-
- Established Legal Protections For Preborn Babies: After years of state-sanctioned abortions late into the second trimester, we finally changed state statute to protect preborn babies at 12 weeks gestation.
- Protected Vulnerable Children: Boys and girls who are struggling to embrace their biological sex will now be protected from harmful āgender-alteringā surgeries.
