LB 933, The Human Life Protection Act, would change that by providing legal protection from abortion to every unborn child the moment Roe is overturned.
By seeking to protect all unborn life, this is one of the biggest pro-life bills ever introduced in our state legislature—but the bill is stuck in the Judiciary Committee.
Senator Joni Albrecht, the lead sponsor of LB 933, has filed a “pull motion” to allow senators to vote to pull the bill out of committee so it can be considered by the full legislature, and senators will be voting soon!
Please contact your state senator, and urge them to support the pull motion for LB 933. A “Yes” vote on the pull motion is a vote to advance pro-life legislation and protect human life in Nebraska.
With the potential for Roe to be overturned this summer, LB 933 represents one of the best opportunities to protect the right to life for all babies in our state that we have ever had.
