As we head into a crucial election year, we’re not wasting any time.

On behalf of Nebraska Family Alliance, I am excited to share about the launch of one of the largest and most important initiatives we’ve ever undertaken: America Reads the Bible.

For one week, April 18-25, 2026, we will help bring over 400 ministry leaders, elected officials, and influential Christian voices from across the country together to read the entire Bible out loud—live from Washington, D.C., to form the largest public reading of scripture in American history that will be broadcast across the entire nation.

This isn’t just an event; it’s a sacred opportunity ahead of the United States’ 250th anniversary to publicly declare that God’s Word still speaks, that truth still matters, and that God is not finished with America.

Our goal is to elevate scripture in American public life, call our nation back to its spiritual foundations, and ignite revival through the power and promise of God’s unchanging Word.

Readers will include Franklin Graham, Candace Cameron Bure, Sec. Mike Pompeo, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Sen. Ted Cruz, and a special delegation of key leaders joining NFA from Nebraska, including Gov. Jim Pillen, Husker Volleyball star and pro-life champion Rebekah Allick, and Pastor and former Nebraska and NFL running back Roy Helu Jr.
