1. RESEARCH THE CANDIDATES
Nebraska Family Alliance surveyed the state and federal candidates on important cultural issues like abortion, parental rights, religious freedom, school choice, girls’ sports, comprehensive sex education, marijuana, and more to help you make an informed decision. Find out where the candidates stand on the issues using our personalized, nonpartisan voter guide before you head to the polls. Visit our Election Resource Center for information on the ballot initiatives and judges.
2. FIND YOUR POLLING PLACE
The polls will be open on Tuesday, November 8th, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM MT), and you can take our voter guide into the booth with you! Each voter must cast their ballot at their assigned precinct (unless you live in one of the eleven counties that conduct elections entirely by mail). If you still have an absentee ballot to return, hand-deliver it to your nearest ballot drop box before 8:00 PM CT (7:00 PM MT) on Tuesday.
3. PRAY FOR WISDOM
Elections have lasting consequences, and the leaders who are elected will significantly impact our lives, families, and communities for the next several years. Join us in praying for truth, righteousness, and discernment to prevail on Election Day. Use our Election Prayer Guides to pray that the voters, candidates, and election officials seek wisdom from God. For local races, find a sample ballot on your county’s election website.
4. VOTE YOUR VALUES
As Christian citizens living within a democracy, we have a Biblical responsibility to love and serve our neighbors by engaging in politics. Our choices will always be between imperfect candidates, but in order for our neighbors to flourish, we must evaluate our choices carefully, pray for wisdom and discernment, and seek to elect leaders whose policy positions are most consistent with Biblical teaching.
