Biggest Pro-Life Bill in Nebraska Needs Your Support

This Thursday will be one of the most important days for the pro-life movement in the history of our state.

Three major pro-life bills introduced in the Nebraska Legislature will all be heard in the Judiciary Committee on the same day:

LB 933 – The Human Life Protection Act: Protects all unborn life by prohibiting all abortion the moment Roe v Wade is overturned

LB 781 – Heartbeat Act: Prohibits abortion once a fetal heartbeat can be detected

LB 1086 – Chemical Abortion Safety Protocol Act: Improves safety and reporting requirements for chemical abortion and prohibits chemical abortion after 7 weeks gestation

Since Roe was decided in 1973, there have been almost 200,000 reported abortions in Nebraska—roughly 10% of our state population. 

We envision a Nebraska where every life is cherished, valued, and protected. 

These bills represent one of the best opportunities to protect the right to life for all babies in our state that we have had since Roe was decided in 1973. 

The NFA team will be at the Capitol on Thursday testifying in support of all three of these bills, but we are asking people to specifically submit an online comment for the public hearing record in support of LB 933, The Human Life Protection Act.

  • Both women and children are worthy of love and deserve better than abortion. LB 933 will protect women from the harms of abortion and ensure children are protected at every stage of development.
