1. WHERE TO VOTE

The polls will be open on Tuesday, May 10th from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CT (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM MT), and each voter must cast their ballot at their assigned polling precinct (unless you live in one of the eleven counties that conduct elections completely by mail). Because of Nebraska’s current voting laws, you don’t need to bring an ID or voting card with you to the polls, but you can take our voter guide into the booth with you!

2. WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT

If you have an absentee ballot but haven’t returned it yet, do not try to mail it. All mail-in ballots must be in possession of the clerk or commissioner by 8:00 PM CT (7:00 PM MT) on May 10th. Absentee ballots received after this deadline will not be counted even if the postmark date is before May 10th. Please take your ballot to your county’s election office to drop it off in person.

3. WHERE THE CANDIDATES STAND ON THE ISSUES

Elections determine the state, local, and federal policies that will be imposed on your family, your children’s school, private businesses you frequent, and the church you attend in the next several years.

Nebraska Family Alliance surveyed the state and federal candidates on important issues like abortion, religious freedom, comprehensive sex education, parental rights, school choice, gambling, marijuana, and more, so you could make an informed decision in this election. Take some time to research the candidates with our personalized, nonpartisan voter guide before you head to the polls, and vote your values. For local races, find a sample ballot on your county’s election website.

4. WHO TO VOTE FOR

Nebraska Family Alliance doesn’t endorse candidates or tell you who to vote for, but we do encourage all citizens to research where candidates stand on the issues that will impact your family and community, ask for discernment through prayer and scripture, vote your values, and pray for Godly leaders who will honor America’s Christian foundation.

5. HOW YOU CAN MAKE A MAJOR DIFFERENCE IN THE OUTCOME OF THIS ELECTION

After you cast your ballot, share our voter guide with your networks, and pray Godly candidates advance to the General Election. By encouraging your friends and family to vote for the candidates you support, you can multiply your vote and help elect candidates who will uphold family values, defend religious freedom, and protect life in Nebraska for generations to come.
