The opportunity to help protect girls’ sports in Nebraska and defend biological reality is here.

Nebraska Family Alliance is mobilizing volunteers to help collect signatures for the “Fairness for Girls” ballot initiative to protect girls’ sports in the Nebraska Constitution. 

Last year, we led the charge to enact a bill protecting girls’ sports. But those safeguards are only statutory, not constitutional, which means they can be weakened, repealed, or overturned—something opponents are already promising to do. And we can’t play defense. 

No girl should ever lose an opportunity to compete or be forced to share private spaces with a man. This isn’t just about sports. It’s about fairness, safety, and truth itself.

To qualify for the 2026 ballot, signatures from 10% of Nebraska’s registered voters must be collected by July 3rd, including at least 5% of registered voters in 38 of Nebraska’s 93 counties.
