As we approach the final weeks of this year’s legislative session, our team is working tirelessly to advance landmark proposals to protect children from harmful surgeries, create school choice, and establish greater legal protections for the unborn.
At the end of March, the Speaker of the Legislature announced that the body would begin late-night debates, going from 9 AM to “as late as 11:59 PM” to make time for as many bills as possible amidst a filibuster from radical senators protesting the advancement of the bold pro-life and pro-family proposals that were introduced this year.
The Nebraska Family Alliance team is committed to getting these bills across the finish line because we know we represent you and your family’s values at the State Capitol. Your prayers and encouragement are making a difference, but we need your financial support to compete with biased national media reports and outside money pouring into our state to halt the meaningful change we’ve been working towards.

In the midst of fierce legislative battles, NFA made the decision that we would no longer participate in an annual fundraising event organized by the Lincoln Community Foundation. In order to register, non-profits were asked to agree to a politically and ideologically motivated gender and sexual orientation “non-discrimination affirmation” statement that would undermine our very mission, statement of faith, and Christian convictions.
