Tomorrow is the last day to register to vote for the upcoming Nebraska Primary Election in person at your county election office. Visit your local election office to register before 6 PM on May 1, 2026, if you’ve never registered before, or if you’ve had changes to your name, address, or political party affiliation.

Absentee ballot requests must also be submitted by 6 PM tomorrow, May 1, 2026. Applications can be submitted by email. Print and complete an early voting application form, and email a signed copy to your local election official before the deadline.

Nebraska’s May 12th Primary Election is less than two weeks away. Nebraska Family Alliance surveyed over 120 state and federal candidates on key issues like abortion, girls’ sports and spaces, parental rights, religious freedom, school choice, gambling, and more.

Take some time to research the candidates with our personalized, nonpartisan voter guide before you head to the polls. Know where the candidates stand on the issues that will impact your family, church, and community. For local races, find a sample ballot on your county’s election website.

Our team is here to empower you and your family to make an informed decision in this important upcoming election. The candidates who advance will go on to compete in the general election to represent us in Washington, D.C., and in every state executive office. Your vote will shape the direction of next year’s legislative session and the leadership guiding Nebraska’s education system.

The future of Nebraska—and America—will be determined by those who show up.
