Last weekend, a record-breaking 1,600 Christian leaders and families from across the state gathered in Omaha for the 2026 Life & Liberty Gala—the largest event in Nebraska Family Alliance history. Together, we celebrated America’s 250th anniversary, honored our God-given freedoms, and prepared for the battles ahead to preserve those freedoms for the next generation.
Hours before the gala, the Nebraska Secretary of State announced that signatures for the Fairness for Girls ballot initiative had been counted and officially certified for the November ballot. The midterm election is just weeks away, and we have the opportunity to make history by becoming the first state in the nation to constitutionally protect girls’ sports.
This was a key focus in a powerful panel discussion with Riley Gaines about girls’ sports, biological reality, and what it means to stand for truth in the public square in the face of fierce opposition.
For 250 years, Americans have inherited the blessings of those who came before us. Today, the greatest threat to our nation isn’t foreign; it’s the moral collapse of our culture.
Keynote speaker Kirk Cameron encouraged us to act now as reformers, not reporters. He challenged Christians to stand firm in faith and influence the culture around us.
Armed with courage and conviction, we’re influencing policy, reclaiming our culture, and laying the foundation for a better future. Through this work, we can help change the course of history and leave a stronger legacy of faith, family, and freedom for future generations.
If you couldn’t attend the gala or didn’t have the opportunity to give, there’s still time to partner with Nebraska Family Alliance with a one-time or monthly contribution. Every tax-deductible gift, matched through September 30, goes directly to our advocacy efforts. This year, we have a special $250,000 match, and we’re already over halfway to our goal.
To all who have already sacrificially given and pledged their support, thank you for standing with us. Your prayers and financial support sustain our ministry and fuels our work to advance Biblical values at the intersection of faith, government, and culture.
We are all in on this mission because the future depends on our faithfulness today. We choose faith. We choose family. And we choose to preserve a nation for our children where God is honored, marriages and families thrive, life is cherished, parental rights are protected, and religious liberty flourishes.
