“There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer.” – A.T. Pierson

Governor Pete Ricketts recently issued a proclamation declaring January 22, 2020, a Statewide Day of Prayer to End Abortion. January 22 is the 47th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court decision which struck down laws protecting unborn babies. Governor Ricketts’ declaration encourages Nebraskans to pray for an end to abortion and take direct action to aid mothers, fathers, and families in need, especially those expecting a child.

This proclamation is a courageous stand for life and a historic opportunity to unite in prayer. Please join us in praying for an end to abortion and putting our faith into action.
