We’re 22 days into Nebraska’s 90-day legislative session. Nebraska Family Alliance (NFA) is actively monitoring more than 50 bills in the Nebraska Legislature, and this week alone, NFA provided key testimony on nine bills across five different committees, including efforts to strengthen our laws against child pornography, keep men out of women’s sports and locker rooms, protect children from the harms of social media, and make adoption more affordable for families.

This week, our team submitted testimony on:

    • LB 89: Stand with Women Act
    • LB 172: Prohibit AI-generated child pornography
    • LB 383: Parental Rights in Social Media Act
    • LB 368: Gender ideology in youth foster care
    • LB 390: Parental oversight and notification of school library books
    • LB 428: Parental notification and oversight of school surveys
    • LB 504: Age-Appropriate Online Design Code Act
    • LB 509: Opportunity Scholarships Act
    • LB 709: Adoption Tax Credit

We mobilized prayer at key moments, brought in leading national experts and powerful personal stories to educate senators, and equipped our network with timely information, action alerts, and talking points.

Additionally, our staff just mailed out over 1,000 Adopt-A-Leader packets to Christian families across the state who committed to lifting their leaders and those in authority in prayer. There’s still time to request a free packet and adopt your state senator in prayer before the session ends.

None of this is possible without you. By influencing policy, mobilizing prayer, and empowering people, we are helping Nebraska be a state where God is honored, families thrive, and life is protected.

This was a huge week for faith, family, and freedom at the Nebraska Capitol, but the legislative session is far from over. Bills will continue to be heard in committee, and floor debate is already underway. Each bill must advance from committee before going through three rounds of debate.

NFA is honored to be your voice at the State Capitol and represent you and your family on-site every day. You can support our ministry with a contribution to sustain our advocacy efforts and ensure we can continue advancing Biblical principles in the public square.

Join our texting network for urgent prayer and policy updates, and follow our 2025 Bill Tracker to learn about the bills we’re monitoring and track their progress through the Legislature. NFA will continue to keep you informed as the legislative session progresses and alert you when to contact senators and make your voice heard.

Thank you for standing in the gap and helping make a difference in the lives of children and families in Nebraska.
