Pressing On With Truth, Love, and Boldness

“If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first…As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” 

These words from John 15 recently became real to our team. Just days after hosting the National Day of Prayer event in our Capitol, vulgar and threatening messages too graphic to share were written on the sidewalks outside our office by a group of 10 adults wearing masks. 

While meant to intimidate and discourage, we responded the only way we knew how—to pray for those individuals to know the truth and love that anchors our mission.

NFA team members have recently been harassed and accosted at the Capitol, simply for being present to support legislation to protect girls’ sports. Despite moments like these, the light shines in the darkness, and your partnership is helping that light shine brighter.

Already this year, we defeated the expansion of predatory online gambling and passed major legislation to protect children, uphold parental rights, crack down on digital child pornography, and save girls’ sports.

We also provided voter guides for city elections, spoke at churches and universities across the state, sent our “Adopt-A-Leader” prayer resources to over 1,000 families, and launched a brand new Biblical Worldview Resource Center to equip believers to influence government and culture with the truth of God’s word. 

And our work is not done. We’re working to defund the abortion industry and expand our outreach to help change hearts and minds. Every day, we face powerful forces that seek to silence Biblical truth. But our God is greater still, and we’ve been called to stand firm, knowing the final victory belongs to the Lord.
