LB 669 was just prioritized by Senator Lonowski and scheduled for debate by the Nebraska Legislature in the next few days! This important pro-life bill, introduced by Senator Storer, would strengthen Nebraska’s laws to protect women from sex-trafficking and coerced abortion.

Use these talking points to encourage your state senator to vote for cloture and the advancement of LB 669:

• • Requires abortion providers to screen for coercion, abuse, and human trafficking before performing an abortion.
  • Ensures women are informed of available resources, given the contact information for domestic violence and human trafficking hotlines, and provided an opportunity to make a confidential phone call.
  • Allows women to hold the abortion industry accountable for failing to provide proper informed consent. 

Pray for Committee Hearing on Pro-Abortion Bill

The Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing on LB 1161, a pro-abortion bill that legalizes abortion without parental consent for minors, this Friday, January 30th, in the afternoon. NFA will be there to testify against the bill and explain why this bill is harmful to families and young expectant mothers. 

Pray for those testifying in-person in opposition to the bill, and that committee members will vote to not advance the bill.
