The NFA Daily Spotlight: Join Us For National Day Of Prayer

Imagine a state where God is honored, life is cherished, marriages and families thrive, and religious liberty is protected. Prayer is the foundation to ensure that vision in Nebraska.

Every year, on the first Thursday in May, we observe National Day of Prayer (NDP) with a prayer service inside the Nebraska State Capitol. At noon on May 1, 2025, Nebraskans from across the state will gather in the State Capitol to lift up families, the church, businesses, education, the military, government, and the media in prayer.

Please join Nebraska Family Alliance for the Nebraska Observance of National Day of Prayer with Governor Jim Pillen, Senator Sponsor Carolyn Bosn, and community prayer leaders from 12:00-1:00 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

Parking is available on streets surrounding the Capitol and the east side of Trinity Lutheran Church’s parking lot (724 S 12th St, Lincoln, NE 68508). The event will be live streamed on our Facebook page for those unable to attend in person.
