The NFA Daily Spotlight: Protecting Vulnerable Children
Children who are struggling to embrace their biological sex need love, support, and time—not surgeries with lifelong consequences. Dr. Jennifer Bauwens joined the NFA Daily Spotlight to discuss how experimental “gender transition” practices are halting children’s natural development, harming their bodies, and complicating mental health issues. Dr. Bauwens serves as the Director of the Center for Family Studies at Family Research Council, researching and advocating for policies that best serve the health and well-being of families and communities. Earlier this year, she testified in support of LB 574, a bill in the Nebraska Legislature to protect children who are experiencing gender dysphoria by prohibiting gender reassignment surgeries on minors.
