The NFA Daily Spotlight: Vote To Protect School Choice And Scholarships

With the passage of the Opportunity Scholarships Act, Nebraska became the 49th state to establish school choice and increase educational opportunities for Nebraska children. The Opportunity Scholarships Act created a tax credit for private donations to non-profit organizations that provide scholarships to children from low-income families to attend a school of their choice.

Immediately after the bill was signed into law, the teacher’s union launched a referendum petition to strip away parental rights and options for our kids.
