1) Ready for a Miracle
We attended last year when we were ready for a miracle to save our marriage because it was so far gone. The event helped us begin again and we decided we’d attend each year for our anniversary because there is always more to learn. FamilyLife saved our marriage and this year, they helped us to stay strong together. Thank you!

2) I was ready to file for divorce…
It made a difference to me. We were having a rough time. My husband suggested this weekend to me. I reluctantly came. I am so THANKFUL I did. I have been a Christian most my life, but had fallen back from things that happened in our marriage. I was ready to file for divorce. I am learning to re-trust God!

3) Healing and Forgiveness
We finally got some alone time to talk without being interrupted by the constant demands of our little ones. We have a lot of hurt in our marriage and we were able to have the healing and forgiveness process truly begin.

5) A difficult one-and-a-half years after an affair
This is our second conference in the last year, and after a difficult last one-and-a-half years after an affair in our marriage, it has helped us understand what a Christian marriage really is and how to build a stronger marriage. This conference has given us hope and has allowed for healing to continue. We have made our marriage a priority with God at the center!

6) Total answer to our prayers!
I have prayed for a while for God to show me how to help our family. We were gifted these tickets. Total answer to our prayers! Many tears were shed this weekend and a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. The answers were simpler than I was trying to do on my own. God-husband-children-I had it all wrong! Thank you SO VERY much for your faithfulness in using the gifts God gave all of you to help our family.

7) The “spiritual” side of marriage
Brought a different way for us to reconnect in our marriage. We have been working on the “scientific” or “sociological” side with a counselor. This Weekend to Remember brought in the “spiritual” side.

8) From “missing sports” to not wanting to leave
When I first agreed to attend FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember, reluctantly I dreaded it. I thought “I’m missing sports on TV, working outside in the yard, etc.” Once we got here Friday night, I was thinking, “Is it Sunday yet?” Well, when it came time to wrap up and leave Sunday afternoon, I did not want to leave.

9) A deeper connection
We have walked away from the Weekend to Remember with a much deeper connection and understanding of each other and our godly roles. I now have much better tools in place to continue to grow closer and raise our children in a God-centered home.

10) Long overdue conversations
We have recommitted ourselves to Jesus Christ. We have had some long overdue conversations and found them to unfold easily – not with the stress and hurt feelings that I anticipated. I am very grateful for the opportunities and resources that we got here.
