LB 933, The Human Life Protection Act, will provide legal protection from abortion to every preborn baby by prohibiting all abortion the moment Roe v. Wade is overturned.
With the potential for Roe to be overturned this summer, LB 933 represents one of the best opportunities to protect the right to life for all babies in our state that we have ever had.
LB 933 was successfully pulled from committee last week on a 28-13 vote, and it will soon be debated by the full legislature.
The abortion industry is working hard to defeat this bill, and pro-choice senators are planning a filibuster, which will require the bill to receive 33 votes to pass.
It is critical that senators hear from their constituents and see the support for LB 933 from across the state.
