2025 was a big year, and we’re thrilled to share our annual ministry recap of the key milestones, data, and insights that made a real difference in Nebraska. The 2025 Nebraska Family Alliance Impact Report is now available, highlighting the results of your faithful prayers, courageous advocacy, and sacrificial gifts.

POLICY 📑

• • 0 NFA-Opposed Bills Became Law: For the tenth year in a row, we successfully blocked hundreds of bad policies and harmful legislation from becoming law.
  • 7 Amicus Briefs Filed in Court: Policy battles are often won in the courtroom. NFA co-signed seven amicus briefs filed in district and federal court.
  • 8 NFA-Supported Bills Passed into Law: We worked to pass landmark legislation safeguarding girls’ sports and opportunities, protecting children and parental rights, and advancing a culture of life. 
  • 35 Testimonies on Pending Legislation: NFA was your representative at the State Capitol, testifying at committee hearings on important legislation. 

PRAYER 🙏

• • 24/7 Prayer Place Access: Prayer is the foundation of everything we do. Our Prayer Place ministry, located on the first floor of our building, facilitates prayer groups, Bible studies, and worship.
  • 1,120 “Adopt A Leader” Participants: Wherever they fall on the political spectrum, our elected leaders need our prayers. This year, NFA relaunched our “Adopt A Leader in Prayer” program, distributing over 1,100 updated packets. 
  • 100s Attended the Nebraska Observance of National Day of Prayer: Nebraskans from across the state filled the State Capitol to pray for our state and nation at our annual NDP prayer service.

OUTREACH 📢

• • 132,000 Action Alerts: Our email and texting networks distributed timely advocacy alerts and urgent prayer requests, empowering you to take action at critical times during the legislative session. 
  • 317 Informative Radio Broadcasts: The NFA Daily Spotlight airs every weekday on Christian radio stations across the state. Tune in to our weekly podcast, The NFA Report, on-air Sunday mornings and available on 20 different podcasting platforms.
  • 1.8 Million Social Media Impressions: With every reaction, comment, and share, you helped us reach new families in Nebraska with important updates, resources, and 23+ hours of truth-driven media. 

MINISTRY GROWTH 📈

• • New Staff Positions Added: Dawn Witt, a valued team member since 2016, stepped into a new full-time role as NFA’s first-ever Chief of Staff, and Elizabeth Nunnally, previously our Multimedia Specialist, became NFA’s new Advocacy & Engagement Coordinator.
  • Biblical Worldview Resource Center: Our mission is to equip and empower Christians with a Biblically faithful, civically responsible, and culturally impactful worldview. Visit NFA’s brand-new Biblical Worldview Resource Center to learn how you can apply Scripture to key cultural issues. 
  • Salt and Light Media Studio: In honor of Charlie Kirk’s courageous voice, we built a state-of-the-art media studio in our office dedicated to broadcasting bold, Biblical truth, sharing powerful stories, and producing content that informs, challenges, and uplifts viewers and listeners.

LANDMARK LEGISLATION 🏆

• • Girls’ Sports Bill Passed: The Stand With Women Act is now law, preserving fairness, opportunities, and safety for girls and female athletes in Nebraska. 
  • Defunded Abortion Providers: In an executive order signed by Governor Pillen, Nebraska became one of the first states to defund abortion providers of Medicaid dollars, stripping them of all taxpayer funding.
  • Protecting Kids Online: Enacted bills combating digital child abuse, protecting parental rights, and prohibiting the exploitation of minors online.
