After three rounds of debate and multiple filibusters, Nebraska state senators voted to pass LB 89, the Stand With Women Act, through the final round of debate on a 33-16 vote.
No girl should be forced to compete against a man. The “Stand With Women Act” addresses growing concerns from parents and athletes by preserving fairness, opportunities, and safety for women and girls in Nebraska.
This is a major victory based on fairness, truth, and common sense. And it was all made possible because of your support and faithful prayers!
The passage of the “Stand With Women Act” marks the culmination of years of advocacy, effort, and prayer. From the bill’s introduction to the committee hearing and all three rounds of floor debate, we have been proud proponents of LB 89 to protect girls’ sports in Nebraska.
We are grateful to Senator Kauth for carrying and championing this legislation, and to each of our senators who voted to pass it into law.
Thank you for standing with us for women and girls, common sense, and truth itself. Together, we are influencing policy, impacting culture, and building a legacy of faith and courage for generations to come.
