The City of Lincoln is holding a municipal election tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6th, and your vote, deciding the next city council, airport authority, and school board members, has never been more important.

In order for our city to flourish, we must evaluate our choices carefully, pray for wisdom and discernment, and seek to elect godly leaders. We urge you to vote your values, pray that God-honoring candidates are elected, and share our election resources with your friends and family!

This will be a close election, and it could all come down to your ballot. That’s why the Nebraska Family Alliance team researched the candidates and created an online election guide with everything you need to know about the candidates appearing on your ballot, which you can take with you into your polling precinct!

In our voter guide, you’ll find responses to our candidate survey, party affiliation, incumbency status, and links to the candidates’ websites to learn more about where they stand on the issues. You’ll also be able to access a sample ballot and information about your polling place!

The polls are open from 8 AM to 8 PM, and mail-in ballots must be returned by 8 PM.

Remember to bring a valid photo ID with you to cast your ballot. Lincoln’s city elections are nonpartisan races, meaning you won’t see any party affiliation next to the candidates’ names on your ballot.

Regardless of the outcome of tomorrow’s election, we will continue to show up in the public square to advance Biblical values and support the rights of parents, churches, and private businesses in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Vote with conviction, pray with purpose, and shape the future of your city and community.
