The countdown is on. We have less than one month to finish collecting 125,000 signatures from at least 38 counties for the pro-life ballot initiative. Our circulators are working tirelessly, but we need your help to obtain the required signatures before the deadline.

Please help us collect the needed signatures over the next few weeks. Your sphere of influence in your church, neighborhood, and small group can reach pro-life voters who would be willing to sign the petition but don’t know anything about our efforts.

Becoming a volunteer petition circulator is easy—the details on how to get involved are below. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to NFA if you have any questions, and thank you for your faithful commitment to protecting the most vulnerable among us.

In every election since Roe v. Wade was overturned, abortion has won at the ballot box. Last fall, the abortion lobby came to Nebraska and filed a ballot initiative to enshrine a right to abortion in our state constitution and legalize abortion until birth. We are facing the biggest threat to life in Nebraska’s history, and we need a new approach to turn the tide.

Local and national pro-life organizations, medical professionals, and legal experts determined that we can be the first state to defeat the abortion industry with a pro-life ballot initiative called “Protect Women & Children,” which would create a minimum protection in the Nebraska Constitution for preborn children at 12 weeks—mirroring current state statute—and allow for additional stronger pro-life laws to be passed going forward.

The deadline to submit signatures is rapidly approaching. Nebraska is a pro-life state, and we can meet the requirements, but we need your help. If every volunteer collects just 60 signatures from their friends, family, and church community, we will achieve our goal before July 3rd.

When you sign up to become a petition circulator, we’ll send you:

    • A ten-minute training video
    • Circulator guidelines
    • And a form to request petitions via mail

You can also sign the petition or pick up petitions at our office (1106 E Street, Lincoln, NE 68508). Our office is open every weekday from 9 AM to 5 PM to distribute and collect petitions, answer questions, and provide copies of materials. We also have a notary on staff to notarize petitions you’ve collected. Please give us a call at (402) 477-3191 if you plan to stop by or need to arrange an alternative time to come by.

Visit our Protect Women & Children resource page to learn more, read the two initiatives, access our church resource packet, download comparison fact sheets, and watch the sermon every Christian voter in Nebraska needs to hear.
