The NFA Daily Spotlight: Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. On the Daily Spotlight this week, Marilyn Dey shares her journey of healing after miscarrying two precious baby boys. The lives of her twin sons are now honored by commemorative birth certificates. Due to a unique, NFA supported bill passed into law by the Nebraska Legislature in 2018, women and families in Nebraska can choose to receive state-issued commemorative birth certificates for babies lost in miscarriage. These certificates memorialize the existence of pre-born children and help provide healing to families in the grieving process. Visit the Miscarriage Birth Certificates page on our website to learn more!
