The NFA Daily Spotlight: Passing The Torch

This week on the Nebraska Family Alliance Daily Spotlight, we honor former NFA Executive Director Karen Bowling and welcome Nate Grasz.

Nebraska Family Alliance announced the appointment of Nate Grasz as its new executive director, effective January 1, 2025. Nate, who has served as NFA’s policy director since 2016, will succeed Karen Bowling, who is stepping down after 24 years of transformative leadership.

Under Karen’s direction, NFA has become one of the state’s largest pro-life and pro-family organizations and a leading advocate for Biblical values, achieving landmark victories for life, religious freedom, and parental rights. Her legacy includes growing the organization’s outreach and building a foundation for generational impact.

“At the start of this year, I sensed the Lord’s guidance that it was time to pass the torch to the next generation of leadership,” said Karen. “Nate is a man of character, competence, and courage, uniquely equipped to lead NFA into its next chapter. I am confident that under Nate’s leadership and with a combined 32 years of experience across our team, NFA will continue to influence our state for the good of our neighbors.”

Nate will host and continue the legacy of the NFA Daily Spotlight.
