The NFA Daily Spotlight: Teach Science, Not Ideology

Dr. Thomas Martin, a philosophy professor at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, joined the NFA Daily Spotlight to discuss issues that arise when children are taught ideology rather than science. Psychological and sociological concepts have no place in grade-level health science classes. However, if the proposed health education standards from the Nebraska Department of Education are approved in their current form, kindergarteners and elementary students would receive sexualized, nonfactual, and age-inappropriate content from their teachers.

Encouraging children to disregard biology and study fabricated terms and societal constructs of sexual orientation and gender identity can lead to confusion and permanent damage to developing minds and bodies. Please contact the Nebraska State Board of Education, and ask your representative to remove the comprehensive sex education topics from the proposed health education standards.
