Give To Lincoln Day is May 31, 2018. This is a 24-hour event that encourages our community to invest in nonprofit organizations making a difference right in our neighborhoods. And it’s making a BIG difference.

3 Good Reasons To Participate in Give to Lincoln Day This Year

1. Give to Lincoln Day is About More Than Raising Money

In 2015 and 2016, Give to Lincoln raised more than 3 MILLION dollars each year for local charities. But this event is about more than raising money. Give to Lincoln also helps Lincoln nonprofit organizations tell their stories and expand their reach – not just to potential donors, but to those who may benefit from available services.

Nebraska Family Alliance is excited to be participating in Give to Lincoln Day 2018. Our work is 100% donor funded, and we are thankful to each of our supporters!

2. Give to Lincoln Day Increases Your Impact

Thanks to many generous donors, your donation makes a bigger impact on Give To Lincoln Day because nonprofits like NFA receive a proportional share of a $400,000 match fund.

Not only that, but we are glad to announce that we have received a $35,000 matching gift for any donation made through June 30th.

3. Give to Lincoln Day Simplifies the Donation Process

Do you want to support a nonprofit organization but aren’t sure where to start? Give to Lincoln Day simplifies the process.

Donating Online

Donations can easily be made online at GivetoLincoln.com. To give, first choose the nonprofit organization you would like to donate to. Then, click on the blue “DONATE” button. The website walks you through providing payment via a secure online form.

If you donate online, you don’t have to wait until the 31st to give! You can add your donation today. More details here.

Donating by Cash or Check

If you’d like to give using cash or check, visit the Lincoln Community Foundation office between 8:00am and 5:00pm on Thursday, May 31st. Make your checks payable to Lincoln Community Foundation and memo the check Nebraska Family Alliance.
