There are moments in history when the choices made by ordinary people shape the future for generations to come. As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, I believe we are living in one of those moments.
During this year’s legislative session, four NFA-supported bills passed into law, and every bill opposed by NFA was successfully defeated.
While we celebrate these victories, other challenges remind us that the work before us is far from finished, and we don’t just need better policies. We need cultural and spiritual renewal.
That’s why this year has been marked not only by our work at the State Capitol, but also by new initiatives and extraordinary moments of prayer to revitalize our nation’s spiritual foundations.
This year, I had the honor of representing Nebraska and interceding for our state at the National Gathering for Prayer and Repentance in our nation’s capital. NFA created our first-ever Bible study, hundreds joined us in united prayer on National Day of Prayer, and we launched one of our largest initiatives ever: America Reads the Bible.
For 84 hours over seven days, NFA helped read the entire Bible aloud from the World Stage Theatre at the Museum of the Bible. Governors, senators, pastors, and nearly 500 leaders from every sphere of influence came together to proclaim the Word of God over our nation.
This is about more than symbolism. This is about rededication. We reached millions of Americans with the truth of God’s word, and God’s word does not return void.

Right now, we are collecting signatures to put protections for girls’ sports on the ballot and into Nebraska’s Constitution, while also opposing a major push to legalize online sports betting—a direct threat to children, families, and student athletes across our state.
