How to Honor Veterans with Chet Bennetts
This week, I interviewed military veteran Chet Bennetts on the NFA Daily Spotlight. In 2005, he was stationed in Iraq with the Marines to protect the nation’s first open election in decades. When I asked him, how can Nebraskans honor our Veterans? Without hesitation, he responded, “Let your voice be heard…GO VOTE”. We also discuss Chet’s story and how veterans can find healing through service in the community.
