Carter Lake Casino and BYOB Clubs Lawsuit
This week I had the chance to talk to Nate Grasz, Policy Director at the Nebraska Family Alliance about events happening in our state and nation. Gambling advocates are pushing for expanded gambling in Nebraska including building a new Casino on Carter Lake, right next door to the Open Doors Mission. Even after Jack Phillips’ win at the Supreme Court the Colorado Civil Rights Commission is targeting Jack again for his religious beliefs. Lastly, Nate gives us an update on the lawsuit that BYOB Clubs brought against the new law requiring these clubs to apply for a liquor licence.
