The NFA Daily Spotlight: A Duty To Engage In Politics And Public Policy

Special guest David Closson joins the Daily Spotlight this week. David serves as the Director of Christian Ethics and Biblical Worldviews at the Family Research Council, and he recently authored Biblical Principles for Political Engagement. This insightful, new resource provides a Biblical perspective on how Christians should engage in public policy and elections.

Christians are called to honor God in every area of their lives. Engaging in politics is not only unavoidable, it is an opportunity to obey God and show love to our neighbors. Therefore, we should examine God’s Word for direction on navigating our government’s political and legislative process. In America, Christians have a unique opportunity and a duty to use their right to vote and freedom of speech to advance Biblical principles.
