As National Adoption Month comes to a close, we want to highlight the great work that is being done in Nebraska to give children forever families and support families who choose to foster. Roy Baldwin, from Christian Heritage, joined the NFA Daily Spotlight to share inspiring stories and discuss how Christians can learn more about adoption and foster care.

Adoption is a beautiful picture of the Gospel. It reminds us that because of Christ’s sacrifice for us, as Christians we have been adopted by God.

“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.'” – Romans 8:15
