The NFA Daily Spotlight: Bringing Hope and Restoration to Trafficking Victims

This week’s guest on the Daily Spotlight is Julie Shrader, President of Rejuvenating Women. Inspired to bring human trafficking victims restoration and wholeness, Julie founded the organization. The grievous sale of human beings in exchange for money or goods regularly occurs across the United States and even in Nebraska. Located in Omaha, Rejuvenating Women works with local law enforcement and shelters to give survivors of human trafficking a safe, loving, and compassionate place to heal. While advocating and bringing awareness to the issue, Julie’s team empowers women to lead healthy, independent lives. Their Christ-centered program offers both short-term and long-term housing to trafficking victims, mentorships, and trauma counseling.
