The NFA Daily Spotlight: Celebrating A Post-Roe America

The U.S. Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade in a landmark 6-3 decision! Don Stenberg—a Harvard Law School graduate, constitutional law expert, and former Nebraska Attorney General—joined the NFA Daily Spotlight to share his legal analysis of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization opinion and the next steps after Roe.

This decision finally allows state legislators to protect millions of preborn babies from abortion. In our state, abortion is still legal up to 20 weeks gestation. The Nebraska Legislature now has a historic opportunity to enact legislation that protects life from the moment of conception.

In a post-Roe America, presidential judicial appointments remain incredibly important to uphold states’ pro-life laws and prevent Dobbs from being overruled. This is just the beginning of the pro-life movement. We will work to elect pro-life leaders on the state and federal levels, support women and their children, and advance a culture of life.
