The NFA Daily Spotlight: Choosing Life and Adoption

This week, we’re spotlighting Adoption Awareness Month, our brave service members, and veterans. Jessica was 19 years old when she discovered she was pregnant during her freshman year of college. After prayerful consideration, she decided to place her baby for adoption. Jessica contacted the Nebraska Children’s Home and worked with a caseworker to select a family to raise her little girl in an open adoption. The adoptive parents played an active role in her pregnancy and delivery, and they even named the baby after Jessica. Today, Jessica has a strong relationship with the adoptive parents and her daughter and often joins the family for holiday celebrations.
