The NFA Daily Spotlight: Helping Grieving Parents Heal And Honor Their Baby’s Life

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. This week on the NFA Daily Spotlight, Karen speaks with Jolie Vega of No Footprint Too Small about how her organization is helping families find healing after a devastating pregnancy or infant loss. In the United States annually, 90,000 babies die before their first birthday, almost 30,000 babies are born still, and nearly one million women experience a miscarriage. No Footprint Too Small comes alongside grieving mothers and fathers amidst and following an infant loss, stillbirth, or miscarriage. At little to no cost, they offer birth and bereavement doula care, guidance on funeral arrangements, perinatal and lactation support, care packages, and referrals to grief counselors and support groups to the families who have experienced such loss.
