The NFA Daily Spotlight: Jessica’s Adoption Story

Join us on the Daily Spotlight as we celebrate Adoption Awareness Month and Thanksgiving. Jessica was a freshman in college when she discovered she was pregnant with a little girl. After praying and considering the future of her baby, she decided to place her baby for adoption. Jessica contacted the Nebraska Children’s Home and worked with a caseworker to choose a family for the open adoption. The adoptive parents played an active role in the pregnancy and even named the baby after Jessica. Today, Jessica has a strong, beautiful relationship with the adoptive parents and her daughter.
