The NFA Daily Spotlight: Protecting Your Children From Dangerous Ideology In Schools

Jeff Johnston of Focus on the Family joined the Nebraska Family Alliance Daily Spotlight to discuss how activists are pushing to inject ideologically driven content into school curriculum and classrooms across the nation. Online learning made parents more aware of what their children were being taught, and as a result, parents are attending local school board meetings and communicating their concerns with teachers and school administrators. In Nebraska, concerned parents showed up and voiced their opposition when the Nebraska State Board of Education attempted to pass radical health education standards.

Parents have the ultimate right to direct the education of their children, and they can opt their students out of unscientific, age-inappropriate lessons and comprehensive sex education. Check out the Back To School Guide for Parents to learn more about how you can protect your son or daughter from dangerous ideology.
