The NFA Daily Spotlight: Serving Nebraska Amidst a Health Crisis

During the COVID-19 health crisis, Nebraska Family Alliance has found unique ways to serve Nebraskans and support families, freedom, and life. Empowering people and mobilizing prayer is central to our mission, and we worked to turn challenges created by the spread of the coronavirus into opportunities.

NFA created a personalized voter guide for the May 12th Nebraska Primary Election and helped promote early voting. The Serve and Pray initiative offered ideas for how believers could assist and pray for their communities, and the COVID-19 Resource page provided churches and families with links to useful resources. Throughout the pandemic, NFA organized statewide prayer events and helped connect faith leaders with public officials. Thousands participated in National Day of Prayer events and a prayer call with Governor Ricketts.

Amidst a crisis, we celebrate. We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the mothers in our life. We are grateful for the endurance and strength God has given to families, healthcare professionals, and government and faith leaders to overcome unprecedented obstacles this spring.

“And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.” Roman 8:28
