The NFA Daily Spotlight: The Essential Role of Fathers in Parenting

Father’s Day is this weekend, and we are celebrating the incredibly unique influence dads have on the lives of their children. Tadd Wegner joins the Daily Spotlight this week to share some of the joys and responsibilities of fatherhood that he’s experienced since becoming a dad. Tadd and his wife Annie live in Lincoln and have seven children. After serving as foster parents, two of their children joined their forever family through adoption. By homeschooling their children, Tadd and Annie work to instill core values in their children and teach them biblical principles. Faith in Jesus Christ is central to the Wegner family, and they utilize a personal mission statement to love God and others, live and learn, laugh, and leave a legacy when choosing how to prioritize their time and attention.
