The NFA Daily Spotlight: Your Vote Has Never Been More Crucial

The Nebraska Primary Election on May 12th will go forward as scheduled. Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen joins the Daily Spotlight this week to discuss measures his office is taking to keep Nebraskans safe and healthy while voting. Elections are the foundation of our democratic republic, and voter participation, even during a global health crisis, is essential to the success of our government.

Early ballot request forms have been sent to every registered voter in the state. Those wanting to stay at home can request and return their ballot by mail. On Election Day, voting precincts will be open and stocked with gloves, disinfectants, and face masks. Poll workers are needed, though.
