I have been an active member of the pro-life movement for more than 40 years. One of the most encouraging things to me, is meeting millennials who are as passionate, if not more passionate, than I am about the issue of Life.

This week I had the opportunity to interview one such young person. Paige Edwards is the President of UNL Students for Life, the pro-life group on campus. Their mission is to establish an active pro-life culture among the youth of their community by actively promoting the right to life of all persons.

Their group recently joined 225 other campuses, representing tens of thousands of pro-life students, in signing a joint letter to Congress calling for the defunding of Planned Parenthood.

But these young people aren’t all talk. They put their passion into action. They support mothers, get involved in local government, and actively reach out to other students with the pro-life message.

I know there is hope for the pro-life movement because of young adults like Paige who are making a difference. This really is the pro-life generation.
