Nebraska Family Alliance is so grateful for the pastors and ministry leaders who faithfully lead their church congregations, and we want to encourage you to take a moment and thank your pastor.
October is Pastor Appreciation Month—when we celebrate and honor those who have answered their calling to pastor. While the month may be coming to an end and many congregations have already participated in Pastor Appreciation Month, there is one Sunday left in October, and when you attend church this weekend, I hope you will let your pastor know how much you appreciate them.
Pastor Appreciation Month is an annual reminder to acknowledge the selfless dedication, spiritual wisdom, profound faith, and invaluable leadership of the pastors who greatly impact our local communities and personal faith journeys. Our pastors are there for us during important life events like baptisms, weddings, and funerals, and they challenge us to grow in Christ, serve as counselors, and offer prayers and encouragement in the midst of personal trials.
Nebraska Family Alliance exists to support those working to advance faith and family, and our diverse network includes hundreds of pastors and churches from numerous denominations across the state. We are proud to equip pastors with free ministry resources and partner with many Nebraska churches. Click here to watch Pastor Roy Helu’s message to pastors at our 2023 Life & Liberty Gala.
Thank you to the pastors who are faithfully serving their congregations, spreading the gospel, standing for Biblical truths, and shepherding their church. Please join our team in praying for our pastors and their families today and throughout the year.
