Do you remember where you were one year ago, on June 24, 2022, when the Supreme Court announced they had reversed the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision? 

I remember. Our team had shown up to the office that morning for a facility work day, and our phones all pinged at the same time…the Dobbs decision was finally out. Roe v. Wade was overturned. 

We prayed and thanked God for this huge victory. Our staff jumped into action, writing press releases, answering questions on the phone, designing graphics, and giving media interviews. After work that day, we celebrated.

Immediately, we began preparing for the next chapter in a post-Roe America. Pro-abortion senators in the Nebraska Legislature could no longer argue that pro-life laws were unconstitutional under Roe. We began drafting bold legislation, meeting with senators, and promoting our pro-life voter guide.

Just last month, the Nebraska Legislature passed the most significant pro-life bill in thirteen years, establishing legal protection for preborn babies after twelve weeks gestation.

To this day, we still celebrate the end of a wrongly-decided Supreme Court case and honor the lives of the precious boys and girls who were never born.
