The NFA Daily Spotlight: Our Most Cherished Freedom

Our forefathers and founding documents established a country where Americans could freely exercise their religion, shielded from government overreach. Today, activist legislators across the nation are introducing laws that target churches, Christian business owners, and religious organizations and force them to violate deeply-held religious beliefs on marriage and human sexuality. In Nebraska, LB 120 and LB 230 are seeking to undermine religious freedoms, criminalize talk therapy in mental health clinics, and threaten women’s equality and privacy by establishing a new sexual orientation and gender identity protected class.

Biological realities matter—on official government documents, inside school locker rooms, and in women’s sports—and we’re committed to opposing proposals that jeopardize our constitutional freedoms. Visit the Nebraska Family Alliance Bill Tracker to follow bills in the Nebraska Legislature that impact your religious liberty, marriage, and family.
