Courageous leadership is both important and inspiring!

A Call To Courage

As attacks on the family, our fundamental freedoms, and truth itself increase, we cannot be silent. From the deceptively titled “Equality Act” in Congress and dangerous bills introduced to the Nebraska Legislature this spring, to the politicized health education standards proposed by the Nebraska Board of Education, courageous leadership is needed!

The proposed health education standards seek to insert the following graphic, age-inappropriate sexual content into your children’s and grandchildren’s elementary school curriculum:

      • Kindergarteners would learn about cohabiting and same-sex relationships without mentioning traditional families with a married mother and father.
      • Third graders would define sexual orientation and ways to express their gender.
      • Fourth graders would learn that sex is assigned at birth and gender is fluid.
      • Sixth graders would learn about a range of sexual identities, including “bisexual, lesbian, gay, queer, two-spirit, asexual, and pansexual.”
      • Seventh graders (who are typically 12 years old) would be taught about anal and oral sex.

Laws, policies, and school curriculum endorse and enforce a belief system. Whose will it be?  The Nebraska Family Alliance (NFA) team is invested in using our resources to oppose the proposed health education standards.

We’ve been actively sending action alerts, empowering moms and dads to voice their opposition with our easy-to-use resource center, collaborating with stakeholders, writing opinion editorials, educating the public on our daily radio show, and visiting communities across Nebraska with Governor Ricketts. We also delivered a 10-minute presentation before the State Board of Education on why the proposed health education standards are harmful to developing minds, hearts, and bodies.

Ensure children and parental rights are protected in Nebraska for years to come!

To ensure children and parental rights are protected in Nebraska for years to come, NFA ministry friends have provided a $25,000 matching fund that expires on midnight July 15th. Your faithful partnership will sustain our efforts to remove the sex education topics from the proposed standards. Double your impact with a tax-deductible gift by midnight this Thursday!

“Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord is with you.” Joshua 1:9

Your courage to stand will inspire others to do the same! In a culture confused about morality, we love our neighbors by sharing the truth that every person—male and female— has intrinsic value and is created in the image and likeness of God.

God promised to be personally present with Joshua when he lacked courage. God will do the same for you. The next generation is depending on our faithfulness today!
