The 2024 Election is just days away, and Nebraska Family Alliance is here to equip you with everything you need to know about the candidates and issues on your ballot!
1. KNOW THE CANDIDATES
Nebraska Family Alliance surveyed the state and federal candidates on important issues like abortion, girls’ sports, school choice, parental rights, marijuana, gambling, and more to help you make an informed decision.
On NebraskaVoterGuide.com, you’ll find information about the candidates you won’t see on your ballot, including incumbency status, party affiliation in nonpartisan races, and links to the candidates’ campaign pages to learn more about their endorsements and policy positions.
Take some time to compare where candidates stand on the issues with our personalized, nonpartisan voter guide before you head to the polls, and vote your values. Learn about the judges up for retention here.
2. UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES
Out-of-state special interest groups are pouring millions of dollars into Nebraska to confuse and mislead voters about the six initiatives that will appear on your ballot. Visit our resource pages to get the facts, and learn about the other initiatives here.
3. CAST YOUR VOTE
The polls will be open on Tuesday, November 5th, from 8 AM to 8 PM CT (7 AM to 7 PM MT)—unless you live in one of the eleven counties that conduct elections completely by mail. You must bring a valid photo ID with you to the polls in order to cast your ballot. State election law allows you to take our voter guide and election resources into the booth with you!
If you still have your absentee ballot to return, don’t try to mail it. All mail-in ballots must be in the possession of election officials by 8 PM CT (7 PM MT) on November 5th. Absentee ballots received after this deadline will not be counted even if the postmark date is before November 5th. Take your ballot to your county’s election office to drop it off in person.
